Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla to the mashed bananas. Whisk until fully combined.
  4. Sift in the flour and baking soda, then gently fold the mixture. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips, reserving some for topping.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
